Meghan Markle Steps Out for Special Cause Ahead of Australia Tour with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle returned to the headlines for a positive reason, earning praise for a heartfelt gesture involving children. The devoted mother of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet was applauded for taking part in a meaningful activity with young patients.
On March 12, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprise visit to children receiving treatment at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, spending time with patients and supporting them during their stay.
Meghan Markle first joined young patients for a watercolour painting session at the Creative Oasis area of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She later spent time visiting children who were confined to their hospital beds, offering encouragement and support.
Her appearance was part of the hospital’s Make March Matter campaign, a month-long fundraising initiative.
Hospital officials explained that Make March Matter is an annual campaign that brings together celebrities, businesses, and the wider community to support CHLA’s mission of creating hope and building healthier futures for children.
Funds raised through the campaign help ensure that Children’s Hospital Los Angeles can continue providing high-quality care to sick and critically injured children, while also supporting the research and innovation the hospital has carried out for more than 125 years.
In newly released photos, Meghan Markle was seen wearing a black face mask while taking part in activities with the children.
The Duchess of Sussex’s visit drew admiration from fans online, with one supporter even referring to her as a “princess.” Another wrote that the moment was heartwarming, praising Meghan for consistently dedicating time to causes that support women and children and expressing hope that her presence made the young patients feel special.
