Olivia Rodrigo Quashes Breakup Rumors with Love Song Teases for OR3

Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge appeared to have gone their separate ways toward the end of last year after a three-year relationship, but her recent remarks hint that this may not be the case.
Olivia Rodrigo, the 23-year-old pop sensation, is currently teasing her third studio album, rumoured to be titled Luck. She revealed that the project in progress is centered around love.
The drivers license hitmaker appears on the cover of British Vogue for April 2026, where she shared a few insights into the album with the interviewer.
Discussing the love songs featured on the record, the Grammy Awards winner described them as “sad love songs,” explaining, “I realised all my favourite romantic love songs were beautiful because they had a tinge of fear or yearning in them.”
One of the soft rock tracks explores the early recognition of love and the rarity of finding someone truly special. “The person that the song is about is great,” she said enthusiastically.
Other songs on the album delve into her insecurities in relationships, including the feeling of deriving self-worth from being loved. However, the closing track reflects a moment of clarity about that mindset. “It’s what I think being in love feels like. You’re getting to the core of all of your issues—how you feel about yourself, your insecurities, what makes you joyful. It feels like the most raw form of you, which is sometimes scary and uncomfortable, but also beautiful,” she shared.
This comes after reports suggested that Rodrigo and Louis Partridge had ended their relationship and that she had abandoned the love album she had been working on. Although the couple kept their relationship private, the themes of the album may offer subtle clues about where things stand between them.
