The Grammy-winning Disney star marks 20 years of Hannah Montana with an emotional new song.

- Miley Cyrus is giving fans one last treat from Hannah Montana.
Following an emotional performance of her previously unreleased song Younger You during The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, Cyrus will make the track available for streaming this Friday, March 27.
Announcing the news on social media, the Grammy-winning star wrote, “Celebrating Hannah Montana isn’t just about honoring a show—it’s a full-circle moment for me. HM was the beginning of the life I know now. The bond I share with my fans is as rare and beautiful as this entire journey.”
She added, “I adore you all and love you deeply. This anniversary special is a gift from me to my younger self, my way of saying thank you for your loyalty an
d for growing with me every step of the way. This song says it all…”
Younger You is written from the perspective of one’s younger self “checking in” on their older, present-day self. When Cyrus debuted the song during the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special on Tuesday, clips of her younger self from the original series played on a screen behind the stage.
The song opens with the lines: “Hey, you. It’s younger you. I’m just checking in to see if you still remember me. Hey, you. It’s younger you—do you still pray before bed, or are you worrying instead?”
