March For Our Lives leader Jaclyn Corin says that overlooking how real and deeply painful this issue is can be damaging.

A conversation has already begun around the film The Drama, even before its release.
This time, attention is not only on the storyline but also on the way the film has been marketed to the public.
The group March For Our Lives has voiced concerns over the film’s marketing, as The Drama stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson and touches on a deeply serious issue.
According to the organization, while the film may aim to address themes of responsibility and change, its promotion does not reflect the gravity of the subject.
They believe that when topics like school violence are involved, the messaging should not come across as light or unclear in promotional material.
Instead, they stress that it should be handled with care so audiences fully understand the film’s true intent.
Jaclyn Corin also noted that ignoring how real and painful the issue is can be harmful.
She suggested that the filmmakers should speak openly and help encourage a more meaningful conversation.
So far, A24 has not issued a response. Even ahead of its release, the film is already sparking strong reactions, highlighting how sensitive the subject remains for many.
