Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez hint at plans to expand their family

Lauren Sánchez has shared that she is eager to have a baby with her husband, Jeff Bezos, saying she would happily welcome a new addition to their family as soon as “tomorrow.”
The 56-year-old former journalist expressed her excitement about growing their family in a recent interview with The New York Times, telling the publication she would not hesitate to have another child right away.
While her remarks quickly sparked excitement, a spokesperson later clarified that Lauren Sánchez is not currently expecting a child with Jeff Bezos, who is 62.
The couple, who married in a star-studded ceremony in Venice in June 2025, are already part of a large blended family. Sánchez has three children from previous relationships: 25-year-old Nikko, whom she shares with former NFL star Tony Gonzalez, as well as two teenagers, Evan and Ella, from her marriage to businessman Patrick Whitesell.
Bezos also has four children — three sons and a daughter — with his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, though he has long kept their lives private.
Speaking about their relationship, Sánchez described the billionaire as her “best friend,” noting that she shares everything with him.
The couple recently made headlines after appearing at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, where Sánchez stood out in a vintage John Galliano strapless gown paired with 85 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.
Despite the glamorous night, cameras captured a slightly awkward moment on the red carpet when she playfully asked Bezos to step aside so she could pose for solo photos.
While she values their close bond and shared future, Sánchez appears just as comfortable taking the spotlight on her own when the moment calls for it.
