Facebook is offering major influencers up to $3,000 (£2,260) per month to post content on its platform as part of its “Content Fast Track” programme.
The social media giant, which has more than 3 billion users, says the initiative targets creators with over a million followers on other video-sharing platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Its parent company, Meta, reported that it paid nearly $3 billion to creators in 2025 through various monetisation programmes.
However, some industry figures have raised concerns about the move. Jordan Schwarzenberger, who represents content creators including the Sidemen, said the initiative does not address the issue of audience migration, adding that while he supports Meta’s efforts, the strategy feels somewhat reactive.
According to a statement from Meta, the Creator Fast Track programme is designed for “established creators who are new to or rediscovering Facebook.”
At present, the initiative is available only to creators in the US and Canada and offers payments for a maximum of three months.
To qualify, applicants must demonstrate that they have more than one million followers on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram, and must publish 15 reels or short-form videos each month.
Creators with fewer than one million followers on other platforms may still be eligible to earn up to $1,000 per month.
There is limited focus on Facebook, according to the Sidemen, the popular influencer group that includes KSI and Vikkstar. While they do repost content on the platform, their manager Jordan Schwarzenberger says it is not a priority.
He also считает the financial incentive insufficient, noting that most creators with over a million followers can earn significantly more through brand deals, YouTube revenue, or memberships.
Under Facebook’s offer, creators would receive $3,000 per month for posting 15 reels, which breaks down to about $200 per video. Schwarzenberger argued this does not even cover production costs for some creators, making the deal unattractive.
