Pakistan Ministry of Information States That Taliban Regime Clips Are Staged, Outdated, and Propaganda

The Pakistan Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday rejected claims about the removal of barbed wire along the Pakistan-Afghanistan Border, calling them “fabricated and devoid of facts.”
The ministry’s official X account criticized what it described as false reports spread by Afghan Taliban outlets and India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
Highlighting the security challenges, the ministry noted that the Pak-Afghan border stretches over 2,640 kilometres of rugged terrain, guarded solely by Pakistan, while the Taliban regime allegedly collaborates with terrorists, smugglers, and criminal networks to facilitate infiltration.
The Pakistan Ministry of Information and Broadcasting stated that the complex dynamics of the Pakistan-Afghanistan Border have been explained multiple times by security officials.
The ministry’s social media post referenced the November 29 press conference by Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, during which he detailed terrorist infiltration attempts along the border.
It added that all clips circulated by Taliban regime outlets are staged, outdated, and follow the propaganda tactics of the “Kharjis” and Taliban, who briefly appear to record content and then flee. Such content, the ministry said, highlights the cowardice of these groups and their reliance on a fabricated world of propaganda and deceit.
The ministry reaffirmed that the Pak-Afghan border fence remains fully intact, and any attempts to breach it are met with heavy and immediate responses.
Frustrated by the destruction of over 250 border posts and the capture of dozens more by Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies during targeted operations under Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, the Afghan Taliban regime has resorted to repeating false narratives to appease their domestic audience.
The ministry further criticized the Kabul regime and its Indian allies, noting their history of baseless claims, including alleged captures of Pakistani tanks, supposed drone strikes, and even claims of capturing a Pakistani pilot in civilian clothing — all of which undermine their credibility.
“Any claims by the Afghan Taliban or their media cannot be trusted,” the ministry concluded.
