PM Shehbaz, during a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Al-Jadaan, indicated renewed momentum in bilateral cooperation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening economic and strategic relations with Saudi Arabia during a high-level meeting with Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, signaling renewed momentum in bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting at the Prime Minister’s House, the premier conveyed his “respectful regards” to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and recalled his recent “warm and cordial” conversation with the Crown Prince.
He lauded Riyadh’s continued support, noting that Saudi Arabia’s economic and financial assistance had “played a vital role in Pakistan’s economic stability.” He further reaffirmed that “the people and Government of Pakistan have always stood shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers and sisters at all times.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Islamabad’s “strong commitment” to expanding cooperation across key areas, particularly trade, investment, and broader economic development.
In response, Minister Al-Jadaan expressed gratitude to the prime minister and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s determination to further strengthen the “longstanding deep-rooted fraternal bonds” between the two countries, in line with the Crown Prince’s vision.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir were also present at the meeting.
