Princess Anne makes stern remark as King Charles, royal family’s key engagement interrupted

Princess Anne, Princess Royal reportedly voiced her concerns as the royal family encountered protestors during a significant public engagement.
The revelations surrounding Prince Andrew and his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have sparked widespread public outrage. Key members of the royal family, including King Charles III, have found themselves facing growing anti-monarch demonstrations as a result.
Most recently, members of the royal family gathered at Westminster Abbey on March 9 to attend the Commonwealth Day service.
While they presented a united front, visible tension lingered on their faces as protestors from the anti-monarchy group Republic added further disruption to the event.
Protestors were seen holding placards reading, “What did you know?”, “What are you hiding?” and “Down with the crown” in response to Prince Andrew’s arrest.
As Princess Anne and her husband, Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, entered the Commonwealth Day service, they were confronted by the chants targeting the monarchy. According to reports from the Daily Mail, Anne reportedly told her husband, “Don’t listen to them, ignore them.”
A palace insider commented on the rising protests, noting: “Other events have rocked the monarchy, but something from within — where someone is being arrested — is very different. This is much more serious.”
