Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump have been in a relationship for the past year

Vanessa Trump is reportedly standing by Tiger Woods following his DUI arrest, with sources saying the couple has no immediate plans to part ways—though her support may come with certain expectations.
Trump, who has been dating Woods for over a year, has discussed the incident with him, and according to TMZ, the two are not in conflict over the situation. She is said to be “fully supportive” as he works to get back on track, with “no talks of a breakup.”
However, a report from the Daily Mail suggests a more nuanced situation. An insider claimed Trump’s initial concern has shifted toward frustration, alleging that Woods appeared to downplay the seriousness of the incident.
“She was like, ‘Let’s handle this together,’ and his response was basically, ‘Yeah, I’ve got it. It’s under control,’” the source said. “And she’s like, ‘It clearly isn’t under control.’”
The insider added that the situation has created some tension, offering a more complicated view of where the relationship currently stands.
“She needs stability, and this situation isn’t stable. If he doesn’t turn things around, she will walk away. She’s trying to make that clear without framing it as an ultimatum—but in many ways, it is,” the source said.
The mother of five has previously been described as deeply committed to the relationship. A source told PEOPLE that she and Woods are “in love,” though the insider added that Woods can sometimes be “difficult to be around” due to ongoing pain from multiple surgeries.
“It’s serious, but Tiger has yet to look in the mirror and say, ‘You’re 50 years old and need to act like it,’” the source added.
Woods addressed the situation publicly on Tuesday, announcing he would step away from golf to seek treatment and focus on his health.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, he has pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge, waived his arraignment, and requested a jury trial.
