Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller delivered their trademark humor at CinemaCon this week as they presented the first look at Focker-In-Law.
The film marks the latest installment in the Meet the Parents franchise.
While the film generated excitement, it was their comments about Ariana Grande that stood out as the main highlight.
Robert De Niro, reprising his role as Jack Byrnes, praised Grande as “probably the single most talented screen partner I’ve been lucky to share the screen with.”
Ben Stiller also added a playful remark, joking that she was “like the new Ben Stiller.”
De Niro responded with a lighthearted jab, saying, “She got an Oscar nomination. How many of those do you have?” The comment prompted laughter from the audience.
Directed by John Hamburg, Focker-In-Law follows Henry Focker, the son of Greg and Pam, as he prepares to marry Olivia, a character played by Ariana Grande.
The film brings back franchise regulars including Owen Wilson, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner, while also introducing Skyler Gisondo and Beanie Feldstein in new roles.
Produced by Tribeca Enterprises and Red Hour Productions, the comedy is scheduled for release on November 25, 2026.
With De Niro’s praise and Stiller’s comedic energy, Focker-In-Law is already building strong industry buzz.
