Ice Spice Speaks Out After McDonald’s Altercation

Ice Spice has responded to a viral video showing her in a physical altercation at a McDonald’s in Hollywood—and she managed to throw in a jab at a rival chain along the way.
Taking to X on Friday night, the rapper brushed off the incident with humor, posting: “This wouldn’t happen at a Wendy’s,” a playful reference to her partnership with the brand.
The post also featured a preview of new music, seemingly intended to keep things light even as the situation takes a more serious legal turn.
The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Wednesday. Footage obtained by TMZ shows Ice Spice seated in a booth when a woman approaches and appears to try to sit beside her. Ice Spice gestures toward the exit, after which the woman allegedly slaps her. The rapper then moves across the booths and tables in pursuit.
The confrontation continued outside, where Ice Spice was reportedly pushed to the ground.
Her attorney, Bradford Cohen, confirmed the incident has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department and stated they plan to pursue all available legal action.
“The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD, and we will pursue all criminal and civil avenues to hold those responsible accountable,” he said in a statement to Billboard.
He added that they are also examining whether the McDonald’s location may bear some responsibility, citing what he described as a lack of proper security.
Cohen also questioned the timing of the video’s release, suggesting those involved may have had ulterior motives. He claimed the individuals only began recording after the initial incident in an apparent attempt to stage a viral moment, adding that the consequences for them could be far more serious.
