
KARACHI – Foreign exchange rates in Pakistan showed minor fluctuations in the latest trading session, with the US dollar and other major global currencies largely maintaining their positions, while some recorded slight changes in buying and selling rates.
The US dollar remained stable at Rs. 279 for buying and Rs. 279.95 for selling. The euro was recorded at Rs. 328.23 (buying) and Rs. 335.22 (selling), while the British pound continued to trade strong at Rs. 376.78 and Rs. 384 respectively.
The UAE dirham was quoted at Rs. 75.95 for buying and Rs. 77.05 for selling, whereas the Saudi riyal stood at Rs. 74.4 and Rs. 75.4. These rates reflect steady demand for Gulf currencies, driven mainly by remittances and ongoing trade activity.
