Adam Levine has previously appeared on The Voice for 16 seasons.

Adam Levine has officially confirmed he will return to The Voice for Season 30, following a standout finale night that saw his contestant, Alexia Jayy, win Season 29.
The Maroon 5 frontman, who has served as a coach for 18 seasons of the hit singing competition, shared the announcement with PEOPLE as the latest season came to a close.
While Adam Levine is currently the only coach confirmed for the upcoming 30th season of The Voice, his decision to return to the iconic red chair follows a strong and successful run that has further cemented his status as one of the show’s most enduring mentors.
The announcement comes after a dominant season for Team Adam, which ended with Alexia Jayy’s victory. Jayy first impressed the coaches during her Blind Audition with a powerful performance of You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman, earning a three-chair turn. Levine, who from the start called her the “best voice in the competition,” now celebrates his fourth win on the show, alongside past champions Javier Colon (Season 1), Tessanne Chin (Season 5), and Jordan Smith (Season 9).
The latest triumph appears to have set the tone for his continued role in the franchise. After originally serving as a coach for the first 16 consecutive seasons, Levine stepped away to focus on his music career and touring with Maroon 5. His return in Season 27 was widely welcomed by fans, and he has since remained a key figure in the show’s lineup.
The Voice continues to serve as a major platform for discovering new talent, and Levine’s comeback ensures one of its most recognizable coaches is back in the hunt for the next breakout star.
While the rest of the Season 30 coaching panel has yet to be announced, Levine’s early confirmation raises expectations for the milestone season. For long-time viewers who have followed him since the show’s debut in 2011, his return signals a renewed focus on the competitive energy that helped make The Voice a global hit.
